Sanna Hento

Sanna Hento is a dancer, dance artist and dance teacher based in Espoo. She has worked as a full-time dance professional since 1996 and she is a founding member of the artist collective Ko-kollektiivi. In her artistic work, she studies the use of the movement language of competition dance in the context of contemporary dance. Her works have been seen e.g. Kuopio Dance Festival, Tanssikuu-festival in Pori, Stoa Cultural Centre in Helsinki, Cultural Centre Valve in Oulu, Ylivieska Cultural Centre Akustiikka and Iisalmi Cultural Centre.
