Meri Pajunpää

Meri Pajunpää is a free lance dance artist living between Helsinki and Brussels. She has worked as a dancer in Europe with choreographers Bára Sigfúsdóttir, Olga de Soto, Isabella Soupart, Theo Clinkard, Vera Tussing, Peter Savel, Jenni Kivelä, Francesco Scavetta, Arno Schuitemaker and Sanna Myllylahti among others.

Meri has also directed her own projects and created collaborative works with visual artists and musicians. Alongside her career as a performer, she teaches contemporary dance classes to professionals and students with emphasis on improvisation.

Currently she is interested in deepening her knowledge in movement and energy work, health and growing as a human being, as well as in the integration of these areas in life.

Meri graduated from the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Modern Theater Dance Department in 2008. In 2015-2018 she studied shiatsu at the Iokai Shiatsu Academy in Brussels.
