Kardo Shiwan

Kardo Shiwan is a Kurdish-Finnish performing artist, offspring of two cultures, a mover and movement maker in constant movement. He has received his BA in Dance from the Theatre Academy of Helsinki, and also studied theatre in the Lahti Academy of Liberal and Fine Arts.

At the moment, Kardo is interested in working at the intersection of cultural studies and corporeality. For the past years, he has worked in various projects as actor, dancer, and assistant choreographer, in Finland and abroad.
